Reefers Club Co. Ltd (“Reefers Club”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the website at reefers.club and the invite-only membership community it provides access to. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. It is written to align with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). By signing in and using Reefers Club, you agree to the handling of your data described here.
1. Who we are
Reefers Club Co. Ltd is the data controller responsible for your personal data. You can reach us about anything in this policy at hello@reefers.club.
2. What we collect
When you sign in with Google, we receive and store your name, your email address, your Google profile photo, and a Google account identifier used to recognise you on return. As part of your membership, we also store your member identity and number, your invite relationships (who invited you and who you have invited, which forms your referral line), and invite codes you generate or redeem. For security and basic operation, we process authentication data kept in your browser so you stay signed in, and standard technical logs from our hosting providers. We do not collect payment information, because the platform takes no payments. We do not ask for, and do not want, cannabis purchase history, health information, or other sensitive data.
3. Why we use your data
We use your data only to create and operate your membership and identity, to build and display your referral line, to run the invite system and control access to the community, and to keep the platform secure and prevent abuse. Our legal bases under the PDPA are your consent, given when you choose to sign in, and our legitimate interest in operating a members community.
4. Who we share it with
We use a small number of trusted providers who process data on our behalf: Google for sign-in, Supabase which hosts our database and stores your account and membership data, and Vercel which hosts the website. If you join our community on WhatsApp, that activity takes place on a platform operated by WhatsApp and Meta under their own terms and privacy policy, which we do not control. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it for advertising.
5. Where your data is processed
Our providers operate servers in various locations, including outside Thailand. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on providers that apply recognised data-protection safeguards.
6. How long we keep it
We keep your data for as long as you remain a member. If you leave, or ask us to delete your data, we remove your personal data from our active systems, except where we are required to keep limited records by law.
7. Your rights
Under the PDPA you have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, withdraw your consent, object to certain processing, request a copy of your data, and lodge a complaint with the Personal Data Protection Committee in Thailand. To exercise any of these, contact us at hello@reefers.club.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No online system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take your data seriously.
9. Minimum age
Reefers Club is strictly for adults aged 20 and over. It is not intended for, and must not be used by, anyone under 20.
10. Cookies and local storage
We use essential storage in your browser to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising trackers. Any analytics we use are limited to understanding overall usage in aggregate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the date at the top. Continued use of Reefers Club after a change means you accept the updated policy.
